So, tonight I am starting out on the elliptical because the rain always makes my back hurt, so low impact will be just fine. Below is what the set up of our elliptical machine looks like, although there are more buttons on the other side, but I will work up to those ones.
Tonight (as I type this, to be exact) I am doing the Weight Loss 1 button on the side. It is 30 minutes of progressive incline. The levels are 2 - 4 - 6, each with more resistance than the last for about 2 minutes each, and then the 6 goes back to 2, and so on. I'm at 100 calories so far! I think I will do this for 2 weeks, as many times as I can each week. And then go to Weight Loss 2 for 2 weeks and so on until I can work up to the buttons that say things like "Performance" "Aerobics" etc on the other side.
The elliptical machine is upstairs, which is awesome because my dad has a theater up here and my Wii is hooked up with Netflix AND I have 2 more seasons of Skins [UK] to watch, so I am definitely excited to be doing all of this and having something to pass the time quickly and make it not seem like a workout at all.
