Today, Chaz and I adopted a puppy from the Animal Shelter! She is a St. Bernard / Anatolian Shepard mix and we named her Chibi. The more time we spend with her, the happier she seems and the more we are certain that we made the perfect choice. She is sweet and friendly and quiet and playful so far. She is laying on her dog bed, exhausted and letting Chaz comb her hair and cut off the matted parts (even the ones on her ears) like it's no big deal!
We love her and I will most likely be posting a lot of pictures of her everywhere now.

Ch-ch-ch-changes!

Wow. Who knew so much could change and so much could happen in less than a year. The past few months have been EXTREMELY stressful. Family issues that I never imagined would happen which led to us selling our beautiful home in less than a month and packing up everything into storage and moving away. There were some hard times and craziness and lots of crying and worrying but I think everything with my family will eventually work itself out, especially by the end of the year, hopefully.
However, this craziness has brought about some nice things as well because tomorrow, Chaz and I get the keys to our first condo together! We signed the lease on Friday and I have been Miss Antsy pants about it ever since. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough! The office lady said I could come at 8:30am if I wanted to but I think I will be nice and go a little later if I can handle the wait! We got our garage door opener today which we had to wait a little extra for but that's okay because now instead of a key for a broken lock, they installed a garage door opener with a button free of charge! Of course it had to rain today so we moved a little bit of stuff into the garage but not much for fear of getting stuff all wet. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow so I will clean and inspect and move all of that stuff into the apartment while Chaz is at school. Then I have a chiropractor appointment, which is another new thing. My back was getting so bad from getting hit by a Durango last year and from my mom's genetics that I couldn't stand it anymore so I've been going to the chiropractor multiple times a week and I feel SOOOO much better. And now that we will have our own place, I will hopefully have lots of time to exercise and get in shape and keep up with the blog!
